NFPA TIE-ROD
STURDY AND STREAMLINED
Tie-rod cylinders use high-strength steel tie rods to secure the two end caps together and are typically used in light to medium-duty factory applications. Viceroy offers tie-rod cylinders in 17 different mounting styles to meet your specific needs.
The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) has established standard sizes for tie-rod cylinders, ensuring interchangeability with existing mounting locations.
Viceroy produces a comprehensive range of tie-rod cylinders in both NFPA standard and custom sizes. Our superior design includes metal-to-metal cushions as standard, rather than floating cushions or cushion seals. This ensures that the cushion will last for the entire life of the cylinder.
